Our Mission
Community Accessability works in partnership with clients, carers and other professionals providing high quality and flexible services. Through leadership, and a dedicated team of staff and volunteers, we promote social wellbeing and independence.
Community Accessability Inc.
Community Accessability comprises two services, the Volunteer Friends Program (VFP) and a Community Transport program. Both services receive Commonwealth and State funding administered through the Department of Human Services and the Department of Health, Victoria.
It is a community based organisation which relies on the invaluable contributions of Volunteers. These volunteers support the agency as drivers, friends of our clients and as Committee of Management members through the incorporated bodies:
Without the support of our volunteers we would not be able to provide these services to our community.
A recent addition the North East Transport Connections Project (NTCP) is funded by the Victorian State Government and is auspiced by Community Accessability. Based in the Wodonga Office the project is working to improve transport options for the communities of Alpine, Indigo,Towong,Wangaratta and Wodonga.
